Belvoir Castle

In the 19th century, the total reconstruction of the castle destroyed the medieval fortress but it left us with a dramatic Gothic Revival Castle.

Bolsover Castle

Lovely half-timbered manor begun about 1460. Pilgrim Fathers met here and in nearby Churches of Scrooby, Babworth & Austerfield.

The Workhouse, Southwell (National Trust)

Wollaton Hall and Park

Set in over 500 acres of deer park, Wollaton Hall is a Tudor building. Now home to the city’s Natural History and Industrial Museum.

Newark Castle
