Check Availability and book

The location is absolutely fantastic! We loved the setting and the layout of the lodges. There was a big group of us and it was fantastic that we would comfortably fit into the lodges. Socialising was very easy!

From 17 May we can begin to open indoor facilities. But please be aware that we all still need to comply with social distancing.

Over the next few weeks, we hope to move back to our previous regime, but for now we are still subject to various restrictions.

Currently, our woodland trails are all available as are all outdoor facilities including jungle gym, 5-a-side football, den building, animal corner and dog walks.

Many local places can easily be visited, an example being Rufford Abbey Country Park which is within a 10-minute walk.

From 17 May we start to re-open indoor facilities but on a gradual basis:

Reception will be open 7 days per week from 9am to 7pm

The Leisure Building sports re-opens on Monday 17 May

-Tennis, badminton, table tennis, pool table and other facilities will all be available
(Please respect social distancing with other guests that are not part of your household)

– Archery Centre re-opens on Thursday 20 May
(Initially this will be limited to short half hour slots of Taster Archery Sessions)

– Swimming Pool re-opens on Friday 21 May
(Initially offering half hour household group slots with a maximum of 6 users or 2 household groups that booked together. Guests need to arrive pre-changed with coats or dressing gowns and follow a one way system into and out of the pool)

– Gift and sweet shop re-opens Tuesday 1 June
(In the interim guests have access to a local Tesco and other shops in Ollerton)

Our aim is to offer guests the maximum use of facilities which is the reason for the shorter half hour sessions. It will be important to arrive early, ready to start your pre-booked session at the booked time. If you are late, you will still be asked to leave at the booked end time so that other guests do not have their booking inconvenienced or shortened.

Bookings can only be made at Reception with a maximum of one day in advance, so that all guests receive the same opportunity to book sessions. We will not be accepting telephone bookings or those made several days in advance.

Our Park is in a woodland setting and we aim to offer ‘lodges at one with nature’.

All our lodges are detached and well spaced from other lodges and guests.

In due course we hope to be extending our range of Activities (crossbows, rifle shooting etc.) and reverting to normal sessions. Hopefully before or around 21 June

We have a variety of lodge designs and types to suit all groups and requirements.

Lots to Do and see

All of our lodges have been constructed from sustainable sources that are of solid Finnish pine that ‘blend in’ with the environment (not timber cloaked caravans). Most of the lodges are tucked in to the woodland but we have several around the lake. When darkness falls each lodge feels secluded allowing you to commune with the natural environment!
