The location is absolutely fantastic! We loved the setting and the layout of the lodges. There was a big group of us and it was fantastic that we would comfortably fit into the lodges. Socialising was very easy!

The Government has advised that our Holiday Park can re-open on 12th April, but not all of our facilities are allowed to re-commence then, and some facilities will remain closed until 17th May to comply with social distancing.
Between 12th April to 17th May, we will operate to slightly reduced hours and services, and some features where we cannot ensure safe social distancing will remain closed. Please note that the Indoor facilities in our Leisure Building, Archery Centre & Swimming Pool have to remain closed until 17th May.
Our woodland trails will all be available as should all outdoor facilities including jungle gym, 5-a-side football, den building, animal corner and dog walks.
Many local places can easily be visited, an example being Rufford Abbey Country Park which is within a 10-minute walk.
Our Reception will be open but on a reduced hours basis.
- Monday 9-10am & 4-7pm
- Tuesday 9-10am
- Friday 9-10am & 4-7pm
- Saturday 9-10am
Our Park is in a woodland setting and we aim to offer ‘lodges at one with nature’.
All our lodges are detached and well spaced from other lodges and guests.
OUR ACCOMMODATION

CHOOSE YOUR LODGE
We have a variety of lodge designs and types to suit all groups and requirements.
Explore The Park
A great place for the family to relax and have fun together on holiday or to celebrate a special event. We also have several cosy lodges reserved for families and their dog. With on-site activities and lots of local attractions in easy reach Sherwood Castle is an ideal destination for your break.
Lots to Do and see
All of our lodges have been constructed from sustainable sources that are of solid Finnish pine that ‘blend in’ with the environment (not timber cloaked caravans). Most of the lodges are tucked in to the woodland but we have several around the lake. When darkness falls each lodge feels secluded allowing you to commune with the natural environment!
